PROSAFE may collect, process, and use your personal information for the purposes of our activities (including online and in-person meetings), and to provide services and information you may have requested, and perform data analyses to evaluate and improve our services (including our websites), in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and where applicable, other relevant laws.
Personal information we collect for these purposes might include your name, e-mail address, title, occupation, company/organisation, industry, region/country, reason for contacting PROSAFE, topics you are interested in.
By registering to attend an online or in-person event/meeting, you acknowledge, agree and grant PROSAFE permission to use, distribute, publish, exhibit, digitise, broadcast, display, reproduce and archive your image, comments, presentations, questions or any other written, audio and visual works during sessions.
For the purposes above, PROSAFE processes your personal information on the basis of legal obligations and the legitimate interests of PROSAFE under Article 6 of GDPR. Personal information are processed solely by PROSAFE’s authorised personnel, acting as the data controller.
Collected data are stored in servers, subject to database auditing, with regular security controls and stress testing, and high safeguards. Database encryption is implemented to maximise protection and confidentiality.
Personal information will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected, under the condition that it is not essential for the fulfilment of the general and specific legal obligations of an activity or contract/grant agreement.
PROSAFE shall not be responsible for protecting any such information and is not liable for the protection of privacy of electronic mail or other information transferred through the Internet or any other network that you may use. PROSAFE does not control and shall not be responsible for the acts of you or any other users of the Services.
