Joint Market Surveillance Action on Toys

During 2009, a number of market surveillance authorities from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Slovak Republic and the Netherlands participated in a special joint market surveillance activity focusing primarily on toys for children under 3 years of age. Over 1.400 economic operators were inspected in all. Additionally, Cyprus and Turkey actively participated in this Joint Action outside the financial scheme.
