JAHARP2021 Omnibus - First Newsletter
The Joint Market Surveillance Action on Harmonised Products - JAHARP2021 Omnibus publishes its First Newsletter showcasing the outcome of the Progress Workshop held on 31 March 2023.
The online Event was attended by more than 70 experts and officers from MSAs and the European Commission. Participants received updates on the progress of the work carried out in the ten Joint Actions, and discussed both the practical benefits created for the actors involved and the challenges encountered. During his opening address, the Chair of RED AdCo and Member of the PROSAFE Board Mr Lucio Cocciantelli (Swiss Federal Office of Communications) recalled "the evolution of market surveillance over the past 25 years" and stressed "the importance of Joint Actions as a powerful instrument to increase cooperation and synergies between national MSAs and create best practices for market surveillance."

The Joint Market Surveillance Action on HARmonised Products 2021 Omnibus is a portfolio of projects co-funded by the European Union (EU) comprising 7 product areas and 3 horizontal/capacity-building activities. In total, it reunites 45 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from 25 following countries.
