PROSAFE is organising the Final Conference for the closure of the JAHARP2020 Triplet activities!
The JAHARP2020 Triplet activities are coming close to an end. The Triplet involved 29 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from 22 EU Member States and represented a powerful tool to increase the level of Market Surveillance for a wide array of sectors and activities.
In spite of all the challenges, the participants successfully completed all tasks and are ready to discuss project final results, takeaways from activities, and policy recommendations at the Final Conference of the JAHARP2020 Triplet on 12 May 2023.
These activities regarded:
- Gas cooking hobs and hot plates
- The co-creation of a harmonised/unified approach for the assessment of the administrative requirements for product sectors under Regulation (EU) 2019/1020
- Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) on connected devices
- Tumble driers including connected appliances
- Internet of Things (IoT) connected devices in cooperation with customs
- Non-refillable helium cylinders
- Gas-fired space heaters
- Tanks/Wagons for class 2 gases, and
- USB chargers
