Call for Tenders for a Transportable Pressure Equipment (TPE) Expert - Joint Action JAHARP2020-3

PROSAFE is launching a Call for Tenders for the Joint Action JAHARP2020-3 concerning the recruitment of a TPE Expert. This work is part of Work Package 2 – Large TPE for the transport of class 2 gases. Further details about the contractual and procedural elements of the call are included in the Official Call and the General Conditions.

The objective of this Joint Action is to raise the level of market surveillance in the product area concerned, thereby contributing to a more uniform application of the rules set out in the applicable EU harmonised legislation. JAHARP2020-3's Work Package 2 is a market surveillance capacity building exercise, aiming to develop knowledge and tools for future market surveillance in the field of transportable pressure equipment. PROSAFE is seeking a TPE expert that may be an individual consultant or an inspection body. In the latter case, the inspection body shall designate a specific expert to carry out the following tasks:

a) The drafting of guidance documents (e.g., checklists) to facilitate the market surveillance of large transportable pressure equipment by national market surveillance authorities;
b) Training of national market surveillance officials on the requirements, procedures and standards applicable to large transportable pressure equipment.
