JAHARP2021 BRAKES Post award invitation to tender for consultancy services

PROSAFE is launching a post-award invitation to tender for consultancy services in the context of the Joint Market Surveillance Action on HARmonised Products 2021 Omnibus 09-E-commerce. PROSAFE is seeking consultant services to provide expertise and support through different roles and responsibilities. More details concerning the tender requirements can be found in the Official Call.

The Joint Market Surveillance Action on HARmonised Products 2021 Omnibus is a portfolio of projects co-funded by the European Union (EU) under the call for proposals SMP-IMA-2021-JA-2731-12302 - EU. All projects cover a 24 months period and include product inspections, testing and capacity building activities for seven product areas and three horizontal activities. In total, 45 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from 25 European countries.

The JAHARP2021-09 E-commerce involves 9 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from 8 EU Member States (Belgium, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, and Spain).

The objective of this transnational activity is is to support the efficient implementation of Regulation 2019/1020 with an emphasis on e-commerce market surveillance. This will be attained through the execution of various capacity building and knowledge sharing activities, and the synthesis of results and actionable recommendations.

The scope of this joint action was decided in synergy with the Administrative Cooperation (ADCO) groups ENERLAB, RED, LVD, and EMC on the basis of an in-depth needs analysis and the estimated long-term impact of the expected results on target groups.

The Project Leader is the Consumer Rights Protection Centre from Latvia (CRPC), supported by PROSAFE.

Tenderers who submitted their bid in the previous pre-award invitation phase conducted in October 2021 may withdraw their application or re-confirm it by sending an official communication and re-sending the supporting documents that have changed in the meanwhile. The declaration of honour is valid for 1 year and thus its validity has not expired in line with the European Commission requirements.
