JAHARP2021 BRAKES Post award invitation to tender for consultancy services

PROSAFE is launching a post-award invitation to tender for consultancy services in the context of the Joint Market Surveillance Action on HARmonised Products 2021 Omnibus 07-Crcular Saws. PROSAFE is seeking consultant services to provide expertise and support through different roles and responsibilities. More details concerning the tender requirements can be found in the Official Call.

The Joint Market Surveillance Action on HARmonised Products 2021 Omnibus is a portfolio of projects co-funded by the European Union (EU) under the call for proposals SMP-IMA-2021-JA-2731-12302 - EU. All projects cover a 24 months period and include product inspections, testing and capacity building activities for seven product areas and three horizontal activities. In total, 45 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from 25 European countries.

The JAHARP2021-07 Circular Saws involves 11 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from the following 10 countries: Croatia, Finland, Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland (outside the framework of the Grant Agreement).

The objective of this transnational activity is to identify unsafe products traded on the Single Market. The activity concerned falls within the scope of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EU and is covered by Regulation (EU) 2019/1020.

The scope of this joint action was decided in synergy with the Administrative Cooperation (ADCO) group MACH. The activity is grounded in a detailed needs analysis (including several preparatory brainstorming sessions and a MSA survey conducted by PROSAFE).

The Project Leader is the Netherlands Labour Authority, NLA in the Netherlands, who will be supported by PROSAFE.

Tenderers who submitted their bid in the previous pre-award invitation phase conducted in October 2021 may withdraw their application or re-confirm it by sending an official communication and re-sending the supporting documents that have changed in the meanwhile. The declaration of honour is valid for 1 year and thus its validity has not expired in line with the European Commission requirements.
