The EEPLIANT2 Layman’s Report is now published

For 30 months (from September 2017 to February 2020), 17 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs),1 energy agency from 15 European countries and PROSAFE worked jointly under the Energy Efficiency Compliant Products 2 (EEPLIANT2) Action to improve the compliance of Household Refrigerating Appliances, Network Standby Appliances, and Professional Refrigerating Storage Cabinets with the European Union's energy labelling and eco-design requirements (according to the Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC and the Energy Labelling Regulation (EU) 2017/1369).

The JA2016 Layman Report summarising the final project results is published!

The Joint Market Surveillance Action 2016 (JA2016) on General Product Safety Directive (GPSD) products funded by the European Union, which started in September 2017 has finalised its activities in October 2019. To mark the end of this Action, we have published the Layman Report highlighting the project achievements and the final testing and inspection results.

The Market surveillance Action for Tyres 2015 project, known as MSTyr15, was focussed on supporting the delivery of the economic and environment benefits of the Tyre Labelling Regulations (EC Regulation 1222/2009) by increasing the rates of compliance with it. 

The project was running between March 2019 and June 2018 with the Horizon 2020 funding from the European Union. Fifteen Market Surveillance Authorities from the EU and Turkey participated in this project under the coordination of PROSAFE.

JA2016 Annual Market Surveillance Workshop

The JA2016 Annual Market Surveillance Workshop was held in conjunction with the PROSAFE General Assembly between 22 and 23 January 2019 in Malta. The Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA) took the opportunity to host this event in Valletta.

Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from 23 countries, stakeholders, representatives from the European Commission and other delegates from outside of the European Union took part in the event.
