Market Surveillance Activities against Dangerous Cigarette Lighters Continue
In December 2009, PROSAFE and market surveillance authorities in 13 European Member States presented the results of a successful crossborder surveillance action to improve the safety of cigarette lighters. Almost 1.300 lighter models were removed from the European market during the action.
