EEPLIANT3: 3rd Newsletter

Energy Efficiency ComPLIANT Products 2018 - EEPLIANT3 is carrying out product inspections and testing activities in ten product categories that were prioritised by Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) across Europe to verify compliance with Ecodesign and Energy labelling requirements. 

In this third edition of the EEPLIANT3 Newsletter we discuss the interim results of our document and online checks (including checks on the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling - EPREL), and the findings from physical compliance testing for each type of product checked so far. The interim results of our product investigations show the ability of the MSAs to identify a significant number of products with a high probability of non-compliance. The final inspection, testing, and enforcement results are expected in late 2023.
