JAHARP2021 Omnibus - Launch Press Release
The Joint Action on Harmonised Products 2021 – JAHARP2021 Omnibus has started! The project launched the first Press Release to display scope, activities, and timelines. JAHARP2021 Omnibus is a portfolio of projects co-funded by the European Union that comprises 7 product areas and 3 horizontal/capacity building activities.
The strategic objective of the projects portfolio is twofold:
- To remove non-compliant and dangerous products from the Single Market;
- and to support the application of the new Market Surveillance Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 with the development of common approaches and good practices.

Background
The market surveillance joint Actions are autonomous yet synergetic, and each has a duration of 24 months. In total, 45 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from 25 countries participate: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
