2nd Newsletter JAHARP2021-10
 

The JAHARP2021-10 project focuses on the efficient implementation of Article 4 of Regulation 2019/1020, concerning the tasks of economic operators regarding products subject to certain Union harmonisation legislation..

The Joint Action started in June 2022 and it is now coming to an end. The participating authorities have performed a mapping of success stories and challenges, developed two Good Practice Guidance documents, and are now ready to report on the status of this article's overall implementation and on the results achieved. 

In the second newsletter, we report the key findings of the project and we discuss the main challenges that Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) still face in this field.

Background

The Joint Market Surveillance Action on HARmonised Products 2021 Omnibus is a portfolio of projects co-funded by the European Union (EU) comprising 7 product areas and 3 horizontal/capacity-building activities.

In total, it involves 45 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from the following 25 Countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
