Second Newsletter JAHARP2022-05

The Joint Action JAHARP2022-05 is funded by the European Union with the aim to survey the Single Market to verify compliance of brake pads for category L vehicles with REACH Regulation and UN/ECE Regulation 90.

The project, coordinated by PROSAFE, started in June 2023 and will end in May 2025.

In this Second Newsletter, we discuss the work carried out by the participating MSAs and the initial challenges encountered.

Background

The Joint Market Surveillance Action on HARmonised Products 2022 (JAHARP2022) is a group of five of European Union (EU) co-funded projects coordinated by PROSAFE.

In total, 25 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from the 16 following countries participate: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden.
