The 5 Market Surveillance Authorities involved in the Joint Action on Harmonised Products – JAHARP2022-05 are completing the initial phases of the market surveillance cycle by conducting market analysis and risk analysis for the  product categories in the scope of the project: Asbestos in brakes. They will soon start sampling products from their local markets and selecting testing laboratories to verify their compliance with EU and UNECE Regulations.

Background

The 5 Joint Market Surveillance Actions JAHARP2022 are autonomous yet synergetic, and each has a duration of 24 months. In total, 23 MSAs from 15 countries participate: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden.
