TheJAHARP2021-06 project focuses on radio equipment in cars, and has the goal of detecting non-compliances with the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU (RED).
The Joint Action started in August 2022 and is now reaching its end in September 2024. The participating authorities have conducted market and risk analysis, identified products for inspection and testing, and are now ready to report on the state of the market and the results achieved.
In this second newsletter, we outline the key findings of the project and discuss the main challenges that Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) still have to overcome in this area.
