Final Press Release JAHARP2021-06
The JAHARP2021-06 project on radio equipment in cars started in August 2022 and will conclude in September 2024. Its primary goal was to identify products that did not comply with the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU.
The project team presented the results of the Action and the challeges that Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) have encountered in the field to the European Commission and key stakeholders at a Final Conference that was held on 30 September 2024.

Background
The Joint Market Surveillance Action on HARmonised Products 2021 Omnibus is a portfolio of projects co-funded by the European Union (EU) comprising 7 product areas and 3 horizontal/capacity-building activities.
In total, it involves 45 MSAs from the following 25 Countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
